Comments
Comments: 19 Mile Brook to Carter Hut was fast, firm and well packed. Wildcat Ridge Trail up to Wildcat A was untouched trail with a layer of crusty wind blown snow. Trail is a bit hard to discern and if you break through the crust and you’re slightly off trail you’ll post hole with full snowshoes on. Crossing the slide was especially sketchy. After ascending Wildcat Ridge Trail I considered descending the ski trail instead of the planned out and back but I managed to complete the descent carefully.
