| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at Seven Dwarfs and took the shortcut to the trailhead, following the trail marked with a green sign on the left. The path was pretty easy going. Leave ten bucks in the mailbox, along with a brief note outlining your plans and which car you're driving.
NOTE: on crossing the second bridge, immediately after is an unmarked trail on the left. It's not got any kind of sign nor any blazes, although there is a PSNH utility pole in the vicinity. (In contrast to the other trail on the left, marked with a small green sign that reads "trail", that's a bit past the old cellar hole.) However, maybe a couple dozen yards in, you'll see signs taped to trees noting that this is private property, and you're trespassing (and subject to prosecution) if you don't have permission straight from the landowners. They specifically enumerate hikers as persona non grata. The other end of this trail is quite near the kiosk for North Twin trail, and coming from that direction, there are no such signs as of 18 February. Be advised that hikers aren't always welcome. I recommend taking the second trail on the left, marked by a green sign, which seems to be on land owned by someone more amenable to hikers, or just sticking to the fire road.

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There's a blowdown around 2/3 of the way up. It's a bit of a mess, and no doubt frozen to the ground, so probably will wait until springtime. But it's easily walked around. Other than that, the trail is a breeze. |

| Comments: |
The trail was in excellent shape. Monorail was packed firm, and likely had at least a couple thaw-freeze cycles, plus some skiers. It was some of the most perfect monorail I've seen, in fact, from bottom to top.
