Comments
Comments: We were looking for a non-crowded doable winter hike and this was perfect -- only saw three other people the whole day on a chilly but very beautiful Saturday! We switched to snowshoes about a mile and a half in and used them the rest of the day. Davis Path up to Crawford was packed down pretty completely with only a few softer sections. Past Crawford, it was clearly less traveled and we ended up breaking trail from the intersection with Mt Resolution up to Stairs Mountain. That section of the trail was also way more overgrown with trees, but no significant blow-downs.
