Squeezed in a quick hike before the weather moves in and changes everything. Microspikes are all that was needed today. Crawford path was packed hard, and fast. Minimal drifting over to Eisenhower, but snowshoes were along just in case. Views were awesome while at the summit, but 20 min later the clouds rolled in. Wind was minimal this morning, as well. All this will change with the storm rolling in later tonite. Thanks to Ralph for deciding to join me on the trip over to Eisenhower and back, was great to have a companion to chat with along the trail. |
