Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I lost 2 rag wool mittens. I set them between my snowshoes on the back of my pack to keep them out of the snow, but then just shouldered the pack. Argggg. They have been patched several times but are still my favorite. They would be on the first 50' of the Mt Eisenhower Loop trail, or on the Crawford Path before Pierce. I'd be thrilled to get them back.

Comments
Comments: A perfect day, unless of course I wanted views. The trails from Rt 302 to Jackson and to Pierce are in perfect condition. A little loose snow out to Eisenhower Loop, but solid underneath. Even Webster Cliff from Pierce to Jackson was solid, though in rougher shape then out to Eisenhower. That steep section before the hut is just beautiful when compared to the rocks underneath. Mt Eisenhower Loop had tracks till about half way up and then the rest were covered with wind blown snow. Cairns did their job.
