Comments
Comments: Late start on purpose to get the “warmest” part of the day. But it was quite chilly on the ridge. No issues with right layers. Trail was well packed up to Pierce (micro spikes) but at split to Ike, snowshoes were preferred. Lots of folks (including myself) had them so trail should be better now. I would still bring them though. Also at 44.233, -71.353 a bunch of people veered off trail leading to a dead end. Stay to the left there and skirt the hill rather than climbing up it.
