Had to cross Baker river because I bushwhacked to short cut the corner at the Al Merrill/Asquam junction. I used snow bridge/rock hop. |

Snowshoes were best for entire route. Gorge brook was well packed with some drifting. People have been up Beaver Brook. Asquam is very soft, with ski tracks in many places and other places drifted in. I found good lanes up to Blue; snow was mainly consolidated. From the Al Merrill/Asquam junction, I bushwhacked down hill to cut the corner, which worked well. |
