Comments
Comments: First one up and down today - did not see a soul. Trail needs some snowshoers. I wore them up and down. Most of the trail is generally fine, but on the long straight-ish hill section, there is some drifting that could use some more pounding down.

At the summit area, wow, some serious drifts. I took the right at the summit loop and broke trail as far as I could but got stumped by some very deep/steep drifts, so I turned around and went up the other way. It turned out to be just as drift-y, but I had to suck it up at that point. I am 6’2 and some of these drifts were above my waist.. but I did my best to tamp them down with my snowshoes. Definitely needs some more. You will posthole without them as of this moment
