Comments
Comments: Quick night hike of Mt Hale on a Frigid evening. I met two hikers on the way in. I was able to bareboot until just after Sugarloaf Trailhead then snowshoes for duration of hike. Both the road and trail have a nicely established track with some unconsolidated powder over a solid base. Side sloping isn't too bad yet on Hale Brook Trail. Summit has quite a bit of drifting as well as a few open sections of Zealand Road. Some of my tracks were covered on return.
