Comments
Comments: Another midweek hike without seeing anyone. The trail is in excellent snowshoe shape. There was a fresh inch of snow along Gale River Loop Rd increasing to 6 inches along Garfield Ridge Tr over a medium packed base. It was 6° with a stiff 20 mph wind and in the clouds at the summit so I didn't linger long. Easy quick descent along the snowy track.
