Comments
Comments: Zealand Road and Mt. Hale both have a well packed snowshoe track. I bare booted Zealand Road to Hale Brook Trail and a short way up the trail. Then used snowshoes to pack down the falling snow but bare booting would have worked fine. Almost 2 inches at top at noon and still coming down lightly. About 1+ inch at lower elevations. Used snowshoes from top to parking lot. Recommend snowshoes until the newly fallen snow gets firmer.
