Comments
Comments: Did this as an out and back on the A-Z Trail. Wore spikes up to the junction with A-Z Trail and Avalon Trail, then put snowshoes on not long after turning onto A-Z Trail. The snow on A-Z Trail was soft and we felt snowshoes were needed over spikes. Kept snowshoes on the rest of the day.

Fresh snow was falling as we were descending.

Side note for anyone looking to continue on the A-Z Trail past the junction with Willey Range Trail. Only saw one set of snowshoe tracks on the A-Z Trail past the junction with Willey Range Trail. Those tracks looked a few days old, or older. Otherwise, it was a lot of unpacked snow. Thought this might be a helpful bit of info for someone.
