Great hike. The trail is well traveled but still very soft. Many hikers in spikes but you will appreciate snowshoes. The snow is not packed making footing very soft even where well traveled. Saw a number of postholes on the way down. Champney falls was well traveled but connecting trails were not. I did not take it but it was clear the trail to middle sister had little traffic and required snowshoes. |
