Snowshoes still needed after our recent snow. All trails were broken out as of Saturday morning, but need packing. The worst post holes are on the Ridge Trail between Ben Weeks trail and Mt. Rowe trail--we tried to pack those down as much as possible. We were out for less than 4 hrs and the snow changed texture during that time as the air began to warm up, but luckily the snow wasn't sticking to our shoes yet.
It was a beautiful, blue-sky day with little to no wind. Lovely! |
