Comments
Comments: Two out of three of us on snowshoes for almost the entire loop. Greeley out of Waterville Valley was semi-broken out by skiers us in 'shoes followed our friend on a backcountry alpine setup but still did a bit of sinking. Mt Osceola trail was harder packed by still soft. Heel lifts for the win on the steeps. Backside descent to Tripoli was untouched (just as we knew it would be) but we moved ok in the deep cream cheese with gravity on our side. Tripoli had 10" untouched freshies on it. Mt Tecumseh Trail also untouched and was a difficult slog after the miles behind us; it was declared the longest three miles of our lives, haha. Us three muskateers headed over to the closed ski mountain on a packed out Sosman Trail; our friend ripped down and we jogged after him in microspikes. Incredible day with all the types of fun experienced. Mark, we made it and great to chat with you, your friend and your pupper. Ed & Co, you all know how to party!
