We saw someone remove a small tree crossing the trail before the Webster-Jackson junction. We removed a small tree descending from Mt. Webster that was blocking the trail. |

Thank You Snowshoers. Pristine, Snowy Packed Sidewalk. Webster Jackson Trail was deep nicely packed snow.
We broke most of the trail between Mt. Jackson to Mt. Webster. It was in deep powder.
Mt Webster branch also had deep powder to the peak.
I don't understand why people would carry their snowshoes on their packs and not use them today! The people who were bare booting were chopping up the trail...especially the Mt. Webster branch and the ridge between Jackson-Webster.Overall snowshoes are the best way to go to help maintain the trails.
