Comments
Comments: A beautiful sunny and cold start this morning. Took our time heading up and saw many others ascending or descending. About a third of everyone out had snowshoes, most others spiked it up. Trail is still quite soft and powdery. Most seemed fine traveling in spikes but were chewing up the Treadway. My suggestion is snowshoes car to car. The staircase at the observation tower is mostly snow covered so I was able to wear snowshoes all the way to the top!
