| Comments: |
6-8" of fresh powder at the trailhead, more at higher elevations, drifts up to 2'. Broke trail from around the 1-mile mark on Pine Bend Brook Trail to the summit of South Tripyramid. Saw a couple other people on the trail today, so there have been 4 pairs of snowshoes up to Middle Tripyramid and back (I think I was the only one who went to South Tripyramid). Snowshoes are still your best bet, there is still unconsolidated powder and drifts. Beautiful conditions for snowshoeing. |
