Comments
Comments: Yes, the trail was mostly well packed, but a bit unconsolidated higher up. I switched from spikes to snowshoes on the upper portion to help smooth out the chop. As I emerged above the tree cover and into the cloud, the wind and blowing snow made it impossible for me to follow the trail. I know the route to the summit, but not while being blinded by the conditions. Tracks were obliterated pretty quickly. It was almost a complete white-out - this was around noon. Inside a ping pong ball - yup. So I turned around, and then struggled to find the trail back into the trees.

Saw 6 guys on the trail, the first with a dog and the last with two. The sun broke out as I walked past Ravine Lodge so I hope the three guys I passed on their way up managed to summit.
