 | Comments: |
It was a mix of sun and overcast. The view of Lake Winnipesaukee from Mt Piper was beautiful. We were also able to make out Lake Winnisquam on the way to Sweet Mtn. We turned back before quite reaching Swett Mtn as we didn't want to go down the steep grade in the col on snowshoes with inconsistent snow cover. We snowshoed up and back. Sadly, 2 other hikers (a lone male hiker and a women trail running with a border collie) chose to bare boot creating postholes and uneven monorail. |
