I started this hike with no expectations other than returning to my vehicle safely I ended up being able to summit. While this wasn't the storm of century whatsoever it was tough. At the trailhead there was approximately 6 inches fresh powder with steady blowing snow by the time I returned there was a solid 9+. There was heavy drifting from the first ascent of BNT. Drifts at lower levels were kneep increasing to easily hip deep "snow dunes" within the line of sight of cabin outhouse. Snow totals I'm sure were heavier towards the summit but with drifting its hard to estimate. After taking a break at the cabin I headed to the summit also with heavy drifting. The bright yellow blazes kept me on trail for the most part although I did meander a bit. Micros stayed in the trunk today replaced gear to spend the night at cabin if needed. The summit register is full and needs to be replaced if possible. I forgot to bring one along today.
