Quick hike of these two peaks. Although heavy snow is arriving, today the trail was well packed and enjoyable with no ice. I used micros until just below Mt Surpise and then snowshoes for duration of hike. Sharp micros were fine for today's hike I just needed the boost the televators provided at this point. I met two other hikers enjoying this beautiful day. At the summit of Mt Moriah is was gusty frigid. It was very interesting watching the weather move in from 3 sides. |
