Got a late start and started at the Crawford Connector around 11am. Snow was pretty well packed all the up Pierce and then to the top of Eisenhower following the Crawford Path. Surprisingly there was basically no wind at either peak. Took Edmands Path down Eisenhower and posthole the whole way while following a path of previously made postholes. We ended up passing a group in front of us that said all the postholes were from them and there was not really a trace of a path before them. Made it to Mount Clinton Rd at about 3:45pm and were happy to walk on the well packed road back to the car. |
