Comments
Comments: Wonderful day - bluebird sky - views forever. More peaks than we could count. Comfortable sunshine and cool air at the top allowing for a long enjoyable summit party. A bunch of people hanging out near the summit sign. Couldn't be a better winter day. Lower part of Glencliff was consolidated and could be barebooted or microspikes but the upper portion a bit looser and snowshoes recommended. Same for Carriage above the trail junction. Hoodoos and rime ice made for good photo opportunities. Saw lots of skiers and boarders skinning up and skiing down. Even a few with skis with skins that were clipped together into snowboards for the way down. Good company with Pierre, Eliz and Ken, and Abby. Kestrel data: T=22 F, W=2 mph, WC=22.
