| Comments: |
I wore sharp/Hillsound spikes to around Mt Surprise when the steeps started. From there I put on snowshoes because my spikes slipped just a bit in the very thin layer of loose snow on the track and I don’t like to waste valuable energy working for traction. Plus... televators! Wore the snowshoes until back to Surprise then spikes to the car. Good snow track, no ice. Saw only 3 people. Bitter cold but beautiful. |
