Great hike that isn’t well marked but is very easy to follow. Spikes and snowshoes are necessary. Previous trip reports for the week are still accurate but I thought some might find rough distances helpful:
Parking to North Twin Trailhead: 1.5 miles. Don’t turn left immediately after the bridge, go 50-100 yards further. The turn off is marked with a clear “TRAIL†sign. Very flat.
N. Twin TH to Fire Warden trail: 1 miles. Very flat.
Fire Warden to summit: 2.2 miles. Beautiful trail with a consistent slope. It’s not easy but it is enjoyable.
Round trip: 9-9.5 miles. |
