It has been awhile since I have written a trail report; but today I wanted to report how nice the conditions were. The trail were nicely packed out with some light fresh snow and so perfect for snow shoeing which we used the majority of the hike , hard packed under so spikes were OK too. We saw no one until North Peak , we ascended the steep South and it had enough snow that we encountered no ice. Saw a few friendly folks heading up on our descent down North Peak.Beautiful day out there to continue JS's quest for winter 48s . Great to meet Fuzz on the way out!!! |
