Comments
Comments: There was about 2 inches of new snow at lower elevations and about 4 inches at higher elevations.
We used micros until the hut and then switched to snowshoes until Lafayette summit. We then went back to micros for remainder of hike.
Wearing snowshoes for entire ridge would be difficult as you go from a foot of snow to exposed rocks. The snowshoes would be getting beat up.
Great trail conditions.
