We parked up at the Flume and walked down to the Indian Head Trail to start the loop. The Indian Head trailhead parking was doable with a car. The Flume was plowed and not an issue. |

Either snowshoes, or spikes, would work for the entire loop. There was enough snow to support using snowshoes and it was well packed enough for spikes. With the well packed trail we used spikes for the entire day giving our snowshoes a free ride. |
