Comments
Comments: Excellent weather for this hike with mostly sunny blue skies showing off the beautiful Franconia Ridge. I wore snowshoes for entire hike with the exception of up to the observation deck which turned out to be the most difficult part of today's hike as stairs are mostly filled in with snow. Lower sections of KRT are well packed with very little ice showing. Upper elevations of trail are tilled up and lots of loose powder. I met 9 other hikers today 2 of which packed skis. This sounded like a great idea🙂
