Comments
Comments: Started 8:15a. Pine Bend was well trafficked and consolidated. I wore spikes and then switched to my K10 Kahtoolas starting around 2300 feet for better purchase on the steep ascent (& descent). Others wore spikes and did fine too. We switched to snowshoes for the bushwhack which was already broken and easily followed along the ridge (330 degree bearing). Fairly easy and open bushwhack. Cold (+10F but felt colder) but luckily we finished the hike before the winds kicked in. Finished 1:40p.
