Comments
Comments: A spectacularly sunny day with some fair weather clouds. Warm with some minor breeze to help keep the bugs at bay. Visibility was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better day! A few fellow hikers up the Jewell. Fairly busy at the top, mostly from Cog & car traffic. Decided to do the loop and go down Crawford Path & the Ammonoosuc. A lot of traffic on Crawford, many coming to & from the Hut. Hut looked well booked, from teenagers to elderly.

Headed down the Ammonoosuc. Tough going with running water & slippery wet rock most of the first half. Would recommend what the book says about going up the Ammonoosuc & down the Jewell. Great day, regardless!!
