Comments
Comments: Hancock Notch Trail and Cedar Brook Trail were both pretty well-packed. I wore snowshoes the whole day, but saw a number of people in microspikes. The Hancock Loop Trail as a bit softer, especially as we climbed and saw some shallow postholes, so snowshoes would be preferable to help firm things up.

We went up North Hancock, and enjoyed the steady steep climb in the sun. The approach to North Hancock was lesser traveled compared to the approach to South Hancock. The ridge between summits was also in good shape, with some drifts closer to South Hancock. The wind really began to whip around the closer we got to South Hancock. It was a chilly one.

Both portions of the loop trail leading up/down to/from North and South Hancock were buttslid for some long stretches and made descent a bit more tricky.
