Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I am trying to remember, but I don't *think* we saw one all day. Could be long stretches on this hike without water opportunities - also, lots of very rough rock.
Bugs
Bugs: A few mosquitoes and blackflies swarming in the lower elevations at both ends of the hike, but not really biting. Insects above treeline were most prevalent on Mt Adams summit (surprise!) and a few crevices where the wind can't reach.

Comments
Comments: Wasn't as sunny as originally forecast, but the precip held off so it was a good day out with Silverfox. Going was slow from treeline on Lowe's Path to Adams, then over to Jefferson. After that, we picked up a little as the footing improved. Lowe's Path was a new route for me and beautiful.

Still some flowers out there although the varieties are switching over a bit. Lots of folks out today.
