Comments: Snowshoes absolutely necessary today. The trails are well broken out but would easily give under the pressure of boots.
There is a herd path that misses the turnoff away from Little River.

Hike from Seven Dwarves up Hale and back to car comes to a total of 9.5 miles. (o:
