Today was fine with just spikes round-trip as everything was packed solid, but a steady snow fell all morning, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have snowshoes with you after today, especially up high where snow is deep. My ascending tracks were filled in by the time I was headed back down. If venturing beyond Roberts, snowshoes are definitely needed; High Ridge Trail has not seen much action.
Not a big view day with the snow falling, but that's ok, it was still a lovely walk in the woods. |
