Comments
Comments: Trails in decent shape. A dusting of new snow this morning. Wore microspikes until just before the Wilderness Boundary, then put snowshoes on for the remainder of the way up and all the way back to the trailhead.

The snow is not especially deep, and there are occasional rocks lurking below the surface of the snow that may catch your traction.

Although a nice track is forming, the base is not compacted or solid. Snowshoes are still the best choice.
