Comments
Comments: The lower portion of the trail was well-packed. At the junction with the AZ trail at Mt. Avalon, the trail over to Field had not been broken out. There was plenty of snow and by now, it should be well travelled. I was surprised I was the only one I saw wearing snowshoes over to Field, despite the fresh snow. If no one else hiked it with snowshoes, there may be small postholes.

There is plenty of snow once you gain some elevation. The rain on Saturday did not damage this trail.
