 | Comments: |
We were on the trail early. Two ahead of us used spikes. We used snowshoes and they were great going up. The snow from last night/morning was deep enough to make you walk duck footed with spikes. We stayed in shoes until about 1/2 way down then went to spikes. All others after us were in spikes. Not consolidated but there is a very solid base under the new snow. Too cloudy for views but a good shakedown for winter.
The Indian Head Tr. did not look like anyone has been on it since the last big snow. |
