Snow is well packed but thin, some rocks and roots are still exposed. Snowshoes not necessary (but this weekend they absolutely will be). Lollipop stick of Hancock Loop is very icy. I went up South and down North, and very glad I choose that route because south is very steep and hard-packed from sledding. |
