| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
First at the “lot†at 7:40am, two other cars parked behind me on return at 11:50 am. This lot is a bit odd in that it is in a residential area and also has a fire hydrant which left me a bit concerned about parking too close to it. Sorry if I didn’t leave enough room for the other cars! It does look like some parking is available down the street (on the left as you drive up to the lot) and the bridge from Mill Street looked open for pedestrians). |

| Comments: |
Conditions were exceptional today. Spikes from start to finish but could have barebooted to Mt. Surprise easily. Barely a whisper of wind, trail was solid the entire way and even on the ledges there is enough hard pack snow that my Kahtoola Microspikes dug in easily with no slipping. Views were monochromatic of everything but the tips of the Presi’s. |
