||Crawford Depot lot almost full at 10:00AM. Additional parking by railroad load platform. |

|Water Crossing Notes:
||All brooks were easy to cross on snow/ice bridges or rocks. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||The top of an evergreen across the Mt Tom Spur Trail. Easily by-passed on well established path. |
||Good for dogs. Saw a couple today. |
|Lost and Found:
||All trails were compacted snow with no propensity for post holing. Snowshoes not required although they could be used. The snow pack is not deep. Only a couple of small ice patches that are easily crossed with traction.|
The forest was beautiful with the snow on the evergreen boughs and plastered on the trunks.
No Gray Jays. Watched a woodpecker on a birch tree.
No views on summit at noon. Appeared the clouds were dissipating in the afternoon.
Path to the south outlook not well broken out with a narrow corridor through the evergreens.
