Comments
Comments: I headed out from the Galehead hut in the morning hoping the weather might clear a bit for a trip to the Bonds. Unfortunately by the time I reached Bondcliff Trail the horizontal rain stinging my face gave me second thoughts. So I bailed on the Bonds and continued up the Twinway in the rain.

The Twinway from the Galehead Hut to Bondcliff is a nice trail, even when wet. The same can not be said for the Twinway from Bondcliff junction to Zealand. The trail seems to puddle water everywhere. This is the second time I've traveled this section in the rain and I must say, its not very enjoyable. The spur into the Zealand summit was very muddy as usual.

I made my way down to the Zealand Hut around noon and after a short break decided I would not stay the night and continued on to Mt Hale and down to the Hale Brook parking lot where I had my truck spotted for the ride home. I got pretty soaked today and glad to be back at my truck changing into dry cloths.
