delightful day for early 2021 warmup. comfortable in the trees, and an 'invigorating wind' above. trail is totally packed, slightly less so on branch trails; occasional patchy ice--all easily managed with mincropspikes,hillsounds.
views to N, E, S all very clear with ID of peaks from Washington to monadnock. curiously, all of Vermont under cloud cap N to S.
Excellent moderate day.
