trailhead parking lot was full at 9:30, only a few cars left (handful) when we got back at 2:30. plenty of parking in the Rt. 2 lot, but was happy to have AWD when pulling out of the lot. |

saw MANY doggos. also saw the frequent blood in the snow that was first noted on Thursday in a trail report--just a reminder to watch out for your pup's paws |

at trailhead: insulated water bottle, 2 spikes (do not make a pair, not expensive spikes), one orange/black glove |

| Comments: |
Nice day out there! Wore microspikes the entire way, no problems. Snow is deep enough that spikes never hit rock, but there is not enough snow for snowshoes at this time. A few areas were icy (crunchy), but spikes were enough traction. This was a very popular hike today. |
