Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a couple of blowdowns ... One is a little bit troublesome since it is on a downhill and you kind of need to slide under it. It is doable, but will not get easier as the snow pack gets higher.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: no doggos out today, but it is definitely doable for an experienced pup

Comments
Comments: Kinsman Ridge Trail was in great shape. I used Hillshound car to car, but most sections could be done with bare boots. Other than a few spots right before the outlook it is pretty packed and fast (I was up and down to my car in 2 hours and 40 minutes). There were two small sections in the glades that were icy, but not terribly so ...

As someone mentioned yesterday, at the loop at the top, the right-hand side has not been broken out at all. I tool a few steps in and it was well above my knees.

Lovely, lovely quiet day on Cannon!
