Comments
Comments: spikes were sufficient all the way to south kinsman...I couldn't believe it. Some localized drifting along Lonesome Lake and on last 0.4 to the summit of north kinsman but certainly not enough distance to warrant snowshoes. KRT from jct of fishin' jimmy to Lonesome Lake trail needed to be broken out again so I was definitely glad I carried the shoes. Ended up wearing them from KRT/fishin jimmy jct to most of the way down Dodge cut off. Hi-cannon was too soft and unconsolidatd for spikes especially for those who prefer to travel efficiently.
