I did the loop clockwise and the trail is in such good shape you could literally fly around it. I did a brisk pace and did it in 4 hours with a short stop for lunch. Trail is perfectly packed powder and with the 15 - 20 folks I saw today doing this loop it only gets better. I left the snowshoes in the truck. At this point either micro-spikes or crampons would be fine so long as it stays cold and dry. |
