Great sunrise hike of the Osceolas. Snowshoes on start to finish on a nicely packed trail. Its a little bony at lower elevations- but its a great start.Approaching the Chimney I followed tracks which appeared to be the bypass for the bypass. Today's conditions were such that its the first time with snow on the ground that I felt comfortable ascending/descending with anything but crampons. I met two other hikers on way out. |
