Calm and quiet in the woods all morning, what a beautiful winter day. Barebooted the entire way, brought spikes but didn't use them. There was about 3" new snow on a packed monorail for most of the hike, some underlying ice on the steeps but very manageable. Cold temps this week will surely consolidate everything nicely. |
